Superman and "Sun Go Kong"*

I wanted to watch "Twilight" since I was curious how great the movie is since looks like many people talk about it and watch it, so when my friends Danny and Iwan asked me if I wanted to join them watching the movie, I didn't take time to think and just said yes even though it's a midnight show and I'd been out since mid-day on Saturday.

I don't really like horror and vampires movies and stories and I am too old for teen movies, so maybe that's the reason why I don't like this movie as much as other people who gave this movie a good review.

I no longer believe that love is blind like I did when I was younger. People who have blind love are just stupid to me. Sorry. It just doesn't make sense to me how could a girl doesn't mind to give her heart to a vampire with a risk that she might be killed somehow? Danny and Iwan think that Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen is so sexy and hot. I don't think so. To me he looks very spooky. Definitely not my kind of guy since I am not into mysterious souls even though there are times when I find goths are interesting. I prefer a guy with great sense of humor rather than a guy with a piercing look who wears eyeliner all the time. But I was once told that people who love art are basically mystical and mythical, and I am mystical myself since I love art, too.

Anyway, I don't think I am going to watch the whole of this Twilight series, but it's nice to watch it with friends since I don't watch movies at the theater often. There's only one thing that I am still curious about: how does that caramel popcorn taste? Danny had it, but I was too full to try it :) Oh, and why most of Brit actors try to be cold instead of being cool?

I definitely too practical to enjoy this movie. And I also realize that my soul isn't that young anymore even though I enjoy this Twilight parody more than the original one :)

* Sun Go Kong: The Monkey King - the main character in the classical Chinese epic novel Journey to the West. In the novel, he accompanies the monk Xuanzang on the journey to retrieve Buddhist sutras from India.

That character popped up in my mind when Edward Cullen flying from a tree to other trees. Hehe.
